Join Leslie Amateur Drama Club as they present an evening of three one act plays. Each one is to be entered into the upcoming Scottish Community Drama Festival one act play festival.
The Bear, by Anton Chekhov, adapted by Bernard Lawrence
Glasgow, 1890. Andrew Baird calls upon Flora McNeil to settle a debt owed by her late husband. It is a bank holiday, however: no money! Baird is determined and refuses to leave; Flora has to resort to violence. Pistols are brought out for a duel; but first, Baird must teach her to shoot

I Bring You Flowers, by William Lang
A man reads his paper and chats with his wife about domestic matters and their daughter in a beautiful garden. As the conversation becomes more strained and personal, it becomes clear that this peaceful scenario isn’t all it seems
