Come on In and Sit Right Down with Claudia Buckley

Claudia Buckley is an award winning performer and vocalist, from Athenry in Co. Galway. With three “Female Entertainer Of The Year” award wins under her belt, Claudia is one of the leading country music stars in Ireland. She has two number 1 albums in the charts featuring hits such as “Diane”, “Come On In” and her breakthrough single “Drinking with Dolly” which has credited Claudia her own stamp on the country music scene in Ireland and beyond.

Claudia has achieved record breaking success as she has amassed a huge following of all ages who travel far and wide to see her perform with her five piece band at dance halls, theatres and at festivals both at home in Ireland and overseas. She has just been awarded ‘The Female vocalist of the Year for 2024’ at the Hot Country Music Awards; one of the youngest ever recipients of this special recognition.

In the space of just two years Claudia has had 6 No.1 singles in the Country Charts in Ireland, and her recent self-penned single ‘Honey Bee’ made the top 10 in the Irish pop charts. She grew up immersed in country music and her own unique sound, a blend of traditional country, pop, blue grass speaks to this. She has toured the UK and Ireland with friend and colleague Nathan Carter performing at festivals all over Ireland, the UK, Spain and beyond.

Claudia is currently working on her second studio album set for release this year and cannot wait to embark on her tour all over Ireland and the UK to showcase some of her hits such as “Drinking with Dolly, ‘Diane’ and some old favourites that she hopes everyone will love.

In the last year Claudia has performed on some of Ireland’s Top TV shows including ‘The Late Late Show, The Six O’Clock Show, Up for the Match and BBC’s Keepin Er’ Country.
