Sorry Darling with support Toy Hospital & Got Got Need

Sorry Darling is a big-hearted Alternative Rock band from New York City. The band returns to the UK with a new EP, Mirrors, led by the powerful single 'Like You'.
Formed in 2022 out of a shared love of big guitars and singalong hooks, Sorry Darling grew from the songwriting partnership of Singer/Guitarists Liz Wagner Biro and Steve Bailey, who bonded over the swagger of the Libertines and the wistful pop of HAIM. Bassist Jackie Land, a reformed metalhead by way of San Francisco, and drummer Dan Holodak, a Seattle transplant, rounded out the lineup, and the quartet quickly became fixtures of NYC’s DIY rock scene.
Musically, the band cites The Pretenders, Pat Benetar, Letters to Cleo, The Beths, and Deep Sea Diver as influences, landing somewhere between alt-rock and hooky power pop built on heavy guitars and lyrics that aim to say something real.
The band will be supported on its Scottish dates in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Glenrothes by Edinburgh shoegaze revivalists Toy Hospital, who blend the heartfelt, world-weary songwriting of punk and emo music with the crushing sonic sensibilities that only the progeny of JAMC and other Scottish noise pop merchants could provide.
