On 27th June Directly after the AFD Parade in Edinburgh me and Small support team head off to John O Groats in my Wheelchairs . Fundraising as we go

The Event is in Aid of Poppy Scotland. I am a Disabled War Veteran and wheelchair user
Me in my Wheelchairs, electric and Manual and Crutches leave Edinburgh straight after the Armed Forces Day Parade . My route out of Edinburgh is down George Street onto Princes Street then off to Queensferry Road looking to cross the old Bridge around 18,30 heading to our first stop Lochore Meadows overnight to be ready fro the Armed Forces Day Parade and family fun day at The Meedies . Leaving on the Eve of 28th to Glenrothes . 29th will see us heading up to Cupar then on to Leuchars to spend the night and next Day with the Scots Dragoon Guards, my old Regiment. PM 30th its to Dundee where we have fundraiding in City Centre on 1st July . Leaving to Perth and the Black Watch Museum Balhousie Castle with fundraising in Perth City Centre 2nd July then heading up the A9 footpath to Pitlochry. 3rd sees us heading to Forces Manor outside Aviemore spending 2 days to get things ready for the next part 1 Adams Fundraising in Aviemore, Nairn, then back on the route A9 Footpath the next part will see us having to leave the path as its closed due to road works so it's a detour away from A9 picking it up just before Inverness. We arrive Inverness on eve of the 7th spendjng 2 nights at Bunchrew Caravan site as Guests . fundraising in the City on 8th and morning of 9th then A9 to Dornoch and Grannies Helen Hame . Leaving on 12th to Golspie A9 . 13th looking at getting to Helmsdale 14th then A9 to Wick Campsite another 2 nights gratis fundraising in Wick16th . Then early to John O Groats finishing afternoon of 17th July. We are fundraising in every City Town and Village on our way . This whole event is self funded, at no time do Poppy Scotland make any type of payment to us . All proceeds raised go direct to Poppy Scotland the target has been set at a realistic £1000. I am using 2 chairs . Crutches ,My Support team consists of Colin Ballantyne ex Black Watch driver of camper van . Joyce Grieve ex RAF Safety vehicle driver. And me Ex Scots Dragoon Guard .driving everyone mad.
All councils involved Have given permission to fundraise in their disrticts . Police Scotland and Bear Scotland are fully aware of route and have advised of any detours .
