Rothes Juniors Football Club 30th Anniversary Celebration Day Community Event
Rothes Juniors Football Club is celebrating a huge milestone — 30 years of football in the community!
Founded back in 1995, the club has provided footballing opportunities for thousands of children across Glenrothes, and now it’s time to mark the occasion in style.
On Sunday the 31st of August, from 12 noon until 5 o’clock, the club is hosting a Community Celebration Day — and everyone’s invited! Whether you’re a player, a supporter, or you’ve never kicked a ball in your life, this day is all about community, togetherness, and celebrating the young people of Glenrothes.
There will be something for everyone — from a huge inflatable zone by World of Parties, to llamas, football challenges, face painting, body art, games, and a DJ and disco. Plus, plenty of food stalls, local sellers, and ice cream vans to enjoy throughout the afternoon.
The day will be officially opened by our MSP, Jenny Gilruth, and entry is completely free. The club will be holding collections on the day to support our Malawi partnership — helping to provide equipment and future visits to the community of Chulochosema.
So come along, join the fun, and celebrate 30 years of Rothes Juniors Football Club — Sunday the 31st of August, 12 to 5 at Michael Woods pitches. We’ll see you there!
